What is your area of specialty?

Macro social work methods (community organizing, public policy, program development and management), and health, behavioral health, and health care policy. I have graduate degrees in Public Health and Social Work, and speak Spanish and German fluently.

What are you proud of as a lecturer?

I helped create a hands-on practice course for social work grad students to practice key macro social work skills, like creating work plans, budgets, and agendas, and identifying policy advocacy targets and allies.

What are you proud of outside your role as a lecturer?

I am running for state representative in the brand-new 47th house district. The #Rheingans4Rep campaign still needs volunteers to help reach voters! Please complete this short form to express interest, and the team will reach out in the coming weeks.

What might others not know about you?

I have officiated over 50 wedding ceremonies in the past 10 years, including in Spanish or bilingual English/Spanish, and for same-sex couples.
