LEO AFT Local 6244's Union Council (and a couple of organizers) send #solidarity and love to United Teachers Los Angeles

United Teachers Los Angeles are currently in their second week of an ongoing strike in the fight for smaller class sizes, more nurses and counselors, a fair wage, and accountability for charter schools. UTLA reported progress at the bargaining table over the weekend, but members were still posted at picket lines this morning (Tuesday 1/22).  #redfored#utlastrong

We all remember how intense and difficult this moment in contract negotiations can be. Show support for our colleagues in Los Angeles with one or more of the following actions:

Tell LAUSD superintendent Austin Beutner to quit stalling and reach an agreement with LA’s teachers.
